The State of Vulnerability Response in Financial Services
In the last two years, 51% of financial services institutions (FSIs) have experienced a data breach, and the severity and volume of cyberattacks continue to increase. A global survey of 469 cybersecurity professionals shows that FSIs can dramatically reduce the risk of being breached by improving end-toend vulnerability response processes.
This report presents a pragmatic road map for reducing data breaches. These recommendations include paying attention to basic hygiene items, breaking down silos between tools, creating structured workflows for vulnerability response processes, and automating these workflows as much as possible. By following these recommendations, FSIs can emulate the success of today’s cybersecurity leaders, dramatically reducing risk for their business and their customers.
