“If you already have an endpoint capability in place, it would make sense to leverage that asset and grow it out with network security," he says. "If you try to do too much, it is often the recipe for failure."

Sharp, a senior member of the Verizon cybersecurity practice, is based in Sydney. He specializes in delivering security solutions to Verizon’s enterprise and government clients.
