The casino company also is investigating whether information about customers at its other locations was breached, according to the Las Vegas Sun.

Information that may have been exposed in the Feb. 10 attack affecting the Pennsylvania location includes credit card information or bank account information, as well as Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers and other confidential information used to initiate a line of credit for tax reporting purposes or for gaming, according to a statement on the company's website.

Administrator passwords for slot machine systems, along with a mailing database, may also have been compromised, the Sun reports. Less than 1 percent of all visitors to the Bethlehem casino since its opening in 2009 were affected by the breach, the newspaper reports.

Sands took down its corporate and individual hotel websites Feb. 11 after hackers defaced them, posting images that condemned comments made by Sands CEO Sheldon Adelson about using nuclear weapons against Iran, according to news reports. Hackers also posted the Social Security numbers for Sands' Bethlehem employees, the Sun reports.

The company says it's offering individuals who had their Social Security number, state or federal ID number, or banking information exposed a year's worth of free credit monitoring and identity theft services.

"We notified and have been working closely with law enforcement officials to determine who initiated the cyber-attack, and we are also working with internal and external forensic IT experts to determine the extent of the attack," the company says in its statement.

The company did not immediately respond to a request for additional information.
