Nicholson and Erik Hart, CISO at Cushman and Wakefield, will share their insights into the best practices in cloud-native security during a Deep Dive session on Tuesday, June 13, at ISMG’s Engage Chicago event.
"People are starting to understand that you can't have 10 different tools in cloud security and manage them with a bunch of different teams," Nicholson said. "We're seeing a lot of different consolidation in the cloud security environment, and people are trying to understand the best way to do that to get the best value out of what they're doing."
In this video preview of the upcoming ISMG Engage session in Chicago, Nicholson discussed:
- The acceleration of "shift left" security;
- How tooling decisions have become clouded by complexity;
- Why collaboration across teams is essential to better security outcomes.
Over the past seven years, Nicholson has worked as a professional services engineer, global solutions architect and global practice leader for Prisma Cloud at Palo Alto Networks. He has deployed Prisma Cloud for a multitude of customers and has in-depth working knowledge of many security platforms.
