Previous to joining the team at Arbor, Bowen spent a decade managing global security for Estée Lauder, and another decade at ArcSight, before and during the HP acquisition. HP utilized his expertise and made him a conference speaker as a strategic evangelist from the Office of Advanced Technology. Bowen also previously worked with Mendicant and Fortinet.
